VivaahAI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the VivaahAI website and mobile application (together, the “Service”) — an AI-powered matrimonial platform that helps people discover and connect with potential life partners.

Information you provide to us

• Account details — full name, mobile number, email address, and date of birth, verified via OTP.
• Profile information — gender, photos, marital status, religion, community, education, profession, income, family details, lifestyle, and partner preferences that you choose to add to your profile.
• Verification documents — government ID or other documents you voluntarily submit for profile verification.
• Communications — messages, interests, and connection requests you exchange with other members, and any correspondence with our support team.
• Payment information — when you purchase a subscription or add-on, our payment partners process your card, UPI, or net-banking details. We do not store your full card or bank credentials on our servers.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data — device type, operating system, browser, IP address, app version, and how you interact with the Service.
• Location data — approximate city/region derived from your IP address or, with your permission, your device's GPS, used to show you relevant matches.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.

• Create and manage your account, and verify your identity.
• Generate AI-powered match recommendations and personalize your experience.
• Enable communication between members who choose to connect.
• Process payments, subscriptions, and refunds.
• Detect and prevent fraud, fake profiles, and abusive behavior, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• Send service updates, OTPs, and — where you've consented — promotional messages. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With other members — the profile details you choose to make visible (photos, bio, preferences) are shown to other members as per your privacy settings. Contact details are never shown without your action.
• Service providers — trusted vendors who help us run the Service, such as SMS/OTP delivery, cloud hosting, analytics, and payment gateways. These providers only receive the data needed to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of VivaahAI, our members, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy continuing to apply to your information.

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting — to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Photos and sensitive profile fields are subject to visibility controls you manage from your account settings. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your login details confidential.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, photos, matches, preferences, and messages are removed from the Service immediately. A limited copy may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days and in fraud-prevention and security logs for up to 90 days, after which it is permanently purged. Certain transaction records may be retained for longer where required by applicable tax, accounting, or financial regulations.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Service is used, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit some features of the Service.

The Service is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to marry. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
